Digicel Trinidad and Tobago announced on Friday its business unit has launched satellite connectivity solutions that offer businesses a secure, resilient backup connectivity option to strengthen business continuity and operational readiness.
The service will be integrated into Digicel Business' managed networking portfolio for businesses across Trinidad & Tobago, combining fibre and satellite connectivity under a single provider, with proactive monitoring, centralised support and end-to-end network management.
This not only provides organisations with an additional layer of resilience and protection to maintain critical operations during service disruptions and extreme weather events, but also helps th4em connect remote, rural and off-net locations where traditional connectivity options may be limited or unavailable.
"With satellite backup integrated into our managed services portfolio, customers gain an added layer of protection without the complexity of managing multiple connectivity providers,” said Gerardo Rivera Menjivar, GM for Digicel Business Trinidad & Tobago. “We handle the network, monitoring and support, so businesses can focus on running their operations with confidence.”
