Vi Business taps Cisco Meraki to improve hybrid SD-WAN offering

Vodafone Idea’s enterprise arm, Vi Business, announced on Thursday it is partnering with Cisco Meraki to enhance its hybrid SD-WAN offering by making it easier to manage.
Vi Business’ hybrid SD-WAN solution – first launched in 2023 – enables enterprises to modernise and integrate their WAN infrastructure via end - to- end managed services with diverse connectivity options across leased lines, broadband, and cellular networks.
The addition of Meraki creates a single dashboard for customers to manage their SD - WAN using application- and performance-aware routing, and security along with built in Wi- Fi and cellular connectivity.
The result for enterprise customers is a fully managed hybrid SD- WAN service with a single point of contact, proactive monitoring, lifecycle management and a unified service experience, all backed by Vi’s nationwide connectivity, said M P Sunil Kumar, chief enterprise business officer at Vodafone Idea.
“By integrating advanced cloud-managed SD-WAN, wired and wireless networking and built-in security, we enable enterprises to centrally manage distributed networks while radically simplifying operations,” he said in a statement. “Combined with our nationwide connectivity, cloud-managed networking capabilities, fully managed services, and end-to-end support, our collaboration with Cisco ensures our clients build resilient, scalable, and future-ready networks.”
